Inspired by the shape of a Champagne Glass, Joel Escalona created the Santos Drinking Chair made of fiber glass.  I see a strong comparison to the famous Tulip style base by Eero Saarinen, as well as the shape of the Egg Chair by Arne Jacobsen.  Whether he had intended on morphing these two timeless designs or just happened upon them, the Santos proves to be fresh and inspiring.  Bravo, Joel.     – Jordan Guide Design

Concrete Furniture

Haute Living has introduced a new line of concrete tables designed by Jan Jander. Jander’s handmade tables, which he signs in Braille, vary in texture from uniformly smooth to porous and irregular. Custom colors are also available, and on particular pieces clients can request custom textures.
